CrushOn is a text roleplay site, and a good one at the low end: $5.99 a month gets you 16K-memory models, which on SpicyChat costs £16.95. It ranks last here because it’s chat-only in a list about AI porn. Its pricing also takes real effort to understand, and its privacy reputation isn’t great.
What it is
A large library of user-made characters, tagged exhaustively and openly unfiltered, with chat on a choice of models. Free models are unlimited. Better models (“Pro” and “Ultra”) cost message credits per reply. Paid plans add memory, longer replies, group chat, custom voices and more saved history.
The pricing, decoded
The four plans are in the price table above, with message credits running from 100 a month free to 20,000 on Luxe. On top of them sits a Pro Models chat package at $24.99 a month ($299.99 a year) for unlimited Pro-model replies without spending credits. Most Pro models still need a membership. If that sounds like a lot of moving parts, it is.
What I like
- Standard is the cheapest long memory in the category. 16K context for $5.99 is the reason to be here.
- The tag list. Whatever you’re into, there’s a tag and a hundred bots for it.
- Group chat on every paid plan.
The catch
- Free history is deleted after 7 days of inactivity. Go away for a week and the story’s gone.
- Credits plus packages plus tiers. You will at some point be unsure what a message is costing you.
- Privacy. Mozilla’s 2024 Privacy Not Included review of romance chatbots flagged CrushOn. Don’t feed it anything personal.
- No real image or video offer. The plans are priced around chat.
Should you pick it?
