How we make money
Short version: some of the sites we list pay us. Here's how, and what that means for the rankings.
Where the money comes from
- Affiliate commissions. Many "Visit" links go through our
/go/redirect. If you sign up or pay after clicking, the site may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra. - Advertising. We may show banner ads, clearly marked as ads.
- Paid placements. Sites may pay for featured or sponsored positions. Sponsored placements are labelled.
What that changes, and what it doesn't
We have commercial relationships with some of the sites we list, and those relationships can influence which sites we cover and where they appear. They don't change the facts on the page: prices, plan contents, free-tier limits and the cons are what we found on the date shown, and every site's score comes with its reasons, so you can judge them yourself.
All commercial links carry rel="sponsored", which tells search engines they're paid links.
