How we rank

Six things, weighted, scored out of 10. Here's exactly what goes into a ThePornChad score.

The six criteria

CriterionWeightWhat we look at
Chat & memory25%Is it properly uncensored, does it stay in character, does it remember you between sessions, and are there group chats and voice?
Value for money20%What the plan costs per month on monthly and yearly billing, and how far the included credits actually go.
Free start15%How much you can do before paying: messages, images, whether you need an account or a card.
Images15%Image quality and control, and how many pictures the base plan covers.
Video15%Whether it makes clips at all, the length and resolution, sound, and the cost per clip.
Billing & privacy10%Who runs it, what shows on your statement, payment options, cancellation, and privacy record.

The overall score is the weighted average, rounded to one decimal. Each criterion's score comes with a one-line reason on the review page, so you can disagree with the reasoning, not just the number.

Where the numbers come from

  • Prices and plan contents are read from each site's own pricing page on the date shown on the review. When a site shows regional pricing (some show £ to UK visitors), we say so.
  • Credit costs come from the site's own help pages where they publish them. Where they don't, we use widely reported third-party figures and label them "reported".
  • Features come from the plans page and the product itself. Hands-on test notes and screenshots are being added to every review.

How often we re-check

Every price is re-checked at least once a month. If a price changes, the old one stays on the page struck through, so you can see what moved and when. If you spot something out of date, tell us.

Things we don't do

  • We don't publish fake user reviews or star ratings from "readers" we don't have.
  • We don't leave out the cons on a site because it's ranked well. Number one has a cons list too.
  • We don't list sites built around undressing real people or anything involving minors.
